Chris, don't bother about the cool dude in leather coat, the green Fordson at left is the near identical vehicle Pav learnt to drive in all that many years ago in the Henderson Valley, West Auckland, NZ.

The old man was at sea when we were kids so we had all the time in the world to play!?????

He had an old Bradford too, but it was dead, my older brothers made me practice in it before I graduated to the 'real thing' while they took off in the Fordie and left me behind,,, But I was a fair little sh-t so I waited until they were out and Pav use to flog the poor old Fordson up and down the long drive at the vineyard and over the 'cow-catchers' at the entrance to the vineyard....

RFS132 is alive and well in East Lothian. She was the resident TL at Lauriston Fire Station (Brigade HQ Edinburgh)for many years and a very active machine. She was very active as a water tower and rescue appliance.

I remember to two arms with 'air' cut through the metal rising from their housings just below the windscreen when the air in the brake reservoirs got near to empty. RSF 132 was the most modern of our three TL's in the 60's and 70's.
