I used to drive an Austin K6 CO2 Crash tender in the late 50's while in the RAF. Our K6 looked much like the one above except it had two banks of CO2 cylinders. Great vehicle with a proud history to it.
The RAF Fire School had Birmingham Aiports to refurbish in the early seventies, but not sure of its whereabouts now, like Errol says it had two banks of CO2 cylinders. I remember it also having a hideous American beacon on the cab which spoiled its looks.
