This 1957 Opel Blitz personnel carrier with De Ley bodywork service with the fire brigade of Wolphaartsdijk in the Netherlands, It was replace in 1982 by a new water tender. Wolphaartsdijk is a little village in the south western corner of the Netherlands (Zeeland). Nowaday it is in a private collection in the Netherlands, just across the border with Belgium.

The most recent replacement is a Mercedes Ecoliner, still in service and crewed by the fourteen man (and one woman) volunteer force.
