International Harvester folk - what do you make of this Pumper in Iceland ?

Suspect it must have come over with the US Air Force ? And, would it have had special features for service in Icelandic climate ?

Andreas, nice to see this Classic Fire-Truck still maintained.

HI This is a Ford 1953 Bigjob 750 anniversary edition, he came new to town in north part of Iceland name Akureyri and build over him in garage in the town. He was first respond engine from 1954 to 2001. There is a Darley pump 600 gallon 3.stage in hi. He was rebuild 1981 and put cabinet in side of the bodywork. Now are he out of order and were reconstructed.
