1953 Mack B_Series Pumper

This fully operational Mack B-series pumper is carried on the roster of the Wilmington (DE) Fire Department (USA). Introduced to the department in 1953, 9 of these B series operated in Wilmington using a 500 gpm pump and 150 gallons of water. The master stream device on the rear of the engine originally saw service aboard one of Philadelphia Fire Department's fireboats. The driver/operator and apparatus are the same age, although the rig has much less gray hair.
