Who woulda think that Volkswagon made Fire Trucks ?

I suppose that so many of us grew up with the little VW Beetle - the People's Car; and can't imagine anything much bigger.

Done some nice body styling, with the tank.

Brazilian manufactured VW, much in common with MAN, but with relatively tiny VW cab from the old European 7.5 tonne truck. These VWs are very common in Brazil, because they are locally built, and a few are exported to other south American fire departments.

There are many sections of towns in south American countries, which have very limited (or zero) hydrants, so tankers are commonplace, even in large towns and cities.
