Ian Marlow In the UK Fire photography is something of an oddity, thankfully apparatus photography seems to be a little more known about and accepted.
I do a great deal of Fire related photography with Essex County Fire Service, usually spend at least two shifts with them a week.
My claims to fame I suppose would be a few industry related publications, pics in Fire Trucks in Action calendar two years for the latest two issues and a few newspaper pics and stories.
I am honouree member of NJMFPA and was presented with the Presidents award in 2004.
Other than that I lead a pretty quiet life :-) |

Graham Willey A number of the contributors to the fire engine photo site will know me from my display of 4mm scale scratch-built model fire engines; these have been exhibited at fire engine rallies (Teesside Airport & Preston Hall) and at many other model shows over the past 30 years. As well building the models I have also photographed emergency vehicles since the 1960s, I also ran a business producing water-slide transfers (decals) for road transport modellers including transfers for emergency vehicle modeller. The water-slide transfer business was run as a sideline to my main business as a watch & clockmaker with a shop in York.
I am now retired, so spend my time building more road transport models, taking photos and enjoying myself without the pressures of business. Anyone who would like to see the models can go to my website or if you want get in touch email graham49@talktalk.net |
