I believe this is a Mark I Multistar. The newer Mark II has a 31 meter working height, a 2000 LPM pump @ 10 AT, a 1500 liter water tank, a six-person cab and the same amount pf locker space as a pumper.
The short lower boom is one piece, and the upper booms are telescopic, providing a manuverable vehicle which can perform multiple functions, all on a two axle 18 tonne chassis.
Originally intended for German volunteer fire companies as a versatile first due appliance like the American 75 foot quint, they have gained limited acceotance in a few export markets, but they are not yet very widespread.
