This is a Mercedes G wagon 4wd twin cabin pick up.Seen at the rear is the Denmark Firexpress Pump Driven Unit (PDU).The PDU is used for initial fire extinguishing.

The West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service now have 12 of these Steyr-Puch/Daimler Super G/bodywork by JDC (John Dennis Coachbuilders)L4T'S.All carry a light portable pump (LPP) and hosereel and are generally used for grass fires.There are 2 of these vehicles adapted that carry animal rescue equipment, and also these two same vehicles tow the 2 fire/rescue boats in the brigade.One other
vehicle is the Technical Rescue Unit which can respond with a special response
team to building collapse/trench entrapment, line rescue, etc, etc.

Over here, this would be called Brush Units / Wildland Fire Trucks.

Same idea, highly mobile 4 x 4 truck to carry the crew and fire-gear, off the public roads, into the boonies, to get at the fire.
