2003 Hummer H1 brush unit from Hurlock Volunteer Fire Co. Hurlock VFC obtained it through the Maryland Dept of Natural Resources excess vehicle programme. For the sum of one dollar Hurlock leases this unit. They are free to re-paint it and alter it in anyway, but they can't sell it. If they no longer need/want it, they have to return it to the State of Maryland. The volunteers have added a tank, booster hose line and emergency lights as well as painted it in the yellow Company colour.

Comments:
Nice rig. A little clarification for our multi-national readership...

Brush Truck - for fighting Wild-land Fires [Forest Fires] especially, for getting in off the road net-work. Saves a lot of walking and hand-carrying to a fire-scene, deep in the woods.

Regards, from Canada,
