a very smrt looking machine nice 2 see something different colourwise as they are normally red in scotland are there any scania crashtenders at any airports

Eric, Manchester Airport Fire Service operate at least 1 Scania as a Rapid Intervention Vehicle, i believe there is also a Scania RIV at Edinburgh Airport as well.

What a nice crash tender.The livery is great.If i not mistaken Rosenbauer AG also fabricate MAN crash tender (panther series) which is still in prototype.The colour is black, but the design is quite sleek in style.

Manchester operate 1 Scania Viper, as do Cranfield and Shoreham airfield while BAA operates five: two in Edinburgh, two in Glasgow and the remaining one at Southampton.
