They actually had four of these, an early prototype which I believe was preserved, then A778/9 EPN then a B registration which was written off !I owned A778 EPN for a couple of years and only sold it to make space for another vehicle I sold it to a recovery firm in the London area who used it for airbag recovery, it was a fantastic vehicle to drive - you could actually 'flex' the chassis simply by 'blipping' the accelerator.

I saw this last in 2007 at RAF Manston. Obviously now taken out of preservation, was rotting away when saw it.

you can see the Sussex Jeeps on this site by putting J20 in the search field. They are a particular favourite of mine. A plea - please vehicle registrations in the title line of your photos if at all possible. Make searching fanatics like me very happy! Staffs had Jeeps as well of course.

As of September this year she was still as the Manston Museum close to the Manston Airport, sitting outside faded red paint looking rather sad.
