Buckinghamshire Volvo FL6/Mountain Range

H345 FBW was the third of many Volvo FL6 pumps purchased by Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue, and like the first pair delivered two years earlier had Mountain Range bodywork. Originally based at Bletchley, it ended its days with the brigade serving as second away at Buckingham before being replaced by an ERF, P984 VUD. It is seen on the forecourt of its home station in January 2004.

Full tilt crew cab, utilizing a second set of standard Volvo cab front doors - not exactly elegant but an eminently practical and less costly solution than a full custom tilting crew cab...
