At the moment this is the only operational aerial appliance in Buckinghamshire as the Quint has been off the run for several months awaiting a new part. It is on loan from Wycombe to Aylesbury to provide cover for the whole county from around the centre. Bedfordshire's aerial can be called upon if a second is required.

The fleet manager should be sacked for the letting the quint be off the run for such a period of time, yet another example of putting ill thought out appliances into service without any thought of life or cover within the brigade, and in this day and age, it's shocking in any part of the world, let alone the uk.

Scrap the heap and purchase a dedicated hp or tl and a proper pummping appliance too!
