Dont be st''id blue lights have been like that for years. This Engine ran in Newry throughout the troubles & if it could talk, Could tell many many stories

Never mind straightening the blue lights....they need to straighten the locker lid !!!!!

This appliance was photographed by Davy at NIFRS Training Centre on 19th April '08. The vehicle has since been removed by it's owner and it's current location is unknown. Hopefully it won't end up in a scrap yard!!

Yes it was the town pump escape when I was a retained fireman in Newry in the late 70s.I can still remember the purr of the big powerful Rolls Royce engine and weight of the 50ft wheeled escape ladder when it was slipped off the back.The other pumps then were a Dodge WRL & a Landrover light pump (L4P)
