Fords were quite popular with Finland's fire services for a long time, starting with the Model T and ending with the D series!

This F600 was rather typical, and quite a few were supplied with front mounted pumps like this example - which were also a popular configuration in Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands.

Many later Finnish pumpers had a unique configuration with the pump under the driver's seat and a two door cab with a center entrance, like so many British appliances at the time.

Every other country seemed to prefer the idea of a four door cab, unless of course it was a canopy!
