1996 Mercedes Benz Operational Support Unit of the West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service which is located at Bognor Regis Fire Station.This vehicle is used for logistical support at incidents.It carries a Moffett Mounty Fork Lift,and is fitted with catering equipment,lighting,an air shelter,a generator,salvage gear,anti-pollution equipment,sandbags and foam as pallertised loads.

Is this type of specification common to all OSU appliances in Britain, or does each separate brigade decide what should be included?

Each service usually has one for their own needs. they are not uniformly loaded with the same equipment or even built by the same manufacturers. By the way I have a Flickr account now which I have put up some emergency services photos on :) www.flickr.com/photos/125567734@N02/with/14312159139/
