You Tube has a video, titled IFEX Fire Fighting, that gives a good demonstration of what IFEX can do, and what it is.

It´s a German high-pressure water cannon system, also used in Singapore on motor bikes, pressure is up to 200 bar.from SCBA therefore producing a fine fog, being very effective with an extreme minimum of water.

Rob,
IFEX = Impulse Fire Extinguishing (Technology)

A system that uses high pressure to shoot water in impulses of a duration of 2/100th of a second - this is a very simplified explanation. They have a website. It's a German company. Simply google IFEX - as I can't post links.
