Brilliant piece of equipment.What you seem to have here is an appliance that can carry a full crew, pump, ladders-slide in the back, an extending ladder with
bucket(turntable ladder with cage)on the top.(ARP mean anything).Maybe this
is the way forward, its stable, got everything, and it works.No further comment.

do we want to really go down the american road in terms of fire appliances, but i agree 100% that the carps should be scrapped.

This size Quintuple [ARP/CARP in UK] on single rear-axle has been proven in service in North America for a number of years.

Note to the ARP/CARP proponents - you cannot shrink the design down any smaller, and still be an effective unit. Even here, still got the overhang of the Bucket [Basket] to contend with.

Great shot - would be nice to see one in action, with all the gear extended.
