Fire Engines Photos

Peps, or any one else in the Philippines, can you please tell me how the Fire Department is set up? It looks to me that there are many Chinese volunteer brigades, so what about the Government ones? How many stations etc.

Frank, to answer your question. There are a lot of Fire station operated by the Gov't. They are the Bureau of Fire Protection. Chinese volunteers evolved and are evolving more bec. of lack of service and support from the gov't. They lack equipments, staffs and lot more. that is why there are more and more Volunteer fire brigades being set up. and not are all Chinese there are also Filipino brigades.Volunteer brigade are mostly sponsored by individual who has the budget to support the group. mostly establishments within their areas. by the way the Gov't does not support the Volunteers here in the Philippines. in terms of financial assistance. Correction on the post that this is the only U.S. fire engine here in Metro manila. there are more, just that this specific fire engine is the only one owned by a volunteer group. Some are owned by private companies. Volunteer trucks are better dressed up bec they have the budget and so. rather than the bfp which is from the gov't. But the bfp and the volunteers are helping one another in their own ways.
