GMC old-timer Bergum

This is a 1948 GMC 350 with a Bikker bodywork. It's been on duty until 1978 with the Bergum fire brigade.

Marcel; what a nice job of body-work, on a standard US of A truck chassis.

Thanks for showing her to us.

Any chance of a rear-view shot of this beauty ?

Digging in all your photo files - man, they got to be vast.....

On a second look - I noticed the "Cut-Out" at LH rear for the Pump Outlets - so it must be a pretty neat Rear-Pump arrangement back there.

I am a fan of locally-built Fire Apparatus (by the small Builders, or, even the Fire Departments them-selves); sometimes the results are terrible; but then also, there are good-looking rigs like this one.

Keep those photos coming (<-:]
