Well Jason, what a remarkable transformation from picture 2088 in a relatively short time - makes me feel very inadequate! It's a credit to you and I hope you get time to enjoy the end result.

thank you very much its been a labour of love and cost me my girlfriend!
but every time i drive it i think its not perfect but every ounce of work is my own down to the small details up to smashing rotten crossply tyres from the rims breaking fingers lifting hydraulic pumps a proud owner indeed
any names for her would be welcome! chuggaboom is funny but not to glam!

Jason, have to agree - what an impressive restoration.
Everyone, you simply must look at the "Before" Picture as above, and really appreciate this "Save".
Good Luck with this classic machine and all your hard work.
Regards,

Its nice to receive nice comments regarding this machine
i remember having a long discussion with a fellow preservationist and it became heated due to the opinion i have on the fine line between preservation and restoration
my vehicle is a good example of a machine wearing its marks and scrapes with pride. showing off its history for all to see, now these happened in service and need as part of her history to be preserved.
when i see a chassis with no body or engine be purchased and 5 yrs later see a brand new body sat on it is that a 1930s machine? or brand new?
i am carefull to keep it all and show it all
not o low load it on a sunny day sit it in a field at a show like an orniment on a mantle place.
if seems a rant then i will be at Odiham this year and my machine will be there
along side others restored the same way and others done with huge cheques paying for a rebuilt machine now how historic are they??

Well done Jason, she's(or is it a he?)looking great.Looking so splendid now maybe you'll bring her/him down to Odiham this year(first weekend August)so all can see her in the flesh.Maybe you should name her after your ex-girlfriend,
or maybe not???.You've put the hard work into this mate, only you can decide.
