Marcel, this is a great photo, I have always been a fan of Commer trucks, there is something business-like about their cabs, I have a Dinky Toy fire engine with extending ladder that has identical cab, ,

The Dinky is actually a model of a Carmichael Commer water tender, which was supplied to York City Fire Brigade.

There are photos of it from both the front and rear on this site. You will notice the front cab doors are front hinged, and that the lockers, hose reels, Dennis pump and suction hose storage are all faithfully replicated on the model.
