This is a photo of GXN205 and GXN213 taken at Great Dorset Steam Fair last year. I know your website is for fire engines –but believe it or not GXN213 was once a fire engine like GXN205.
Hi Heather, I think your photo is more than worthy of being included on this site as it shows that the preservation of an appliance in original condition is not the only way it can survive. We have seen quite a few pictures of appliances in a derelict condition which are valuable to the historians amongst us and I think views of vehicles which have a 'second life' are equally important.
