Theo, with such a diverse range of owners how did they all end up together for the photograph? Do Metz by back their old ladders to recondition and then sell on?

Barry, the new TL isn't on the run yet. At the station they run the x Oslo machine as they were short of TL's in Rotterdam. When this had an oil leak the rental one from SFS (which is actually a former Rotterdam TL)became on the run.
Sometimes brigades trade in their old TL, which is then used by a company (Metz or Magirus)as a loan machine, for example as a TL gets an overhaul etc.

Frank, thank you for the reply. Although having looked at this again I hang my head in abject shame at such a spelling horror. I would like to think that it was Marcel playing a joke, but I doubt it...

Never mind Barry, I knew what you meaned.
The right TL, VT-13-TT, is from 1992. The (x)Oslo one from 1993, which was a rechassied ladder. The new TL was built in 2007 and delivered just this month.
