Lothian and Borders used to have one like this. Originally white then painted red. Anyone know what happened to it after disposal?

Lothians went to Livingston Motor Auctions in 2006, don't know much after this. Probably used now as a large cherrypicker?

Lincoln city had an ERF Snorkel before this. Was this a remount, as the ERF was not very old when this unit was placed in service? The ERF could not have been more than around ten years old in 1988.

Ed: this is the more modern platform SS263 so it is not a remount. The ERF may have been the first 85 footer from Simon.

Thanks. I wonder if the older unit was relocated to a different Lincolnshire station when this unit was bought, as it seems odd that it would be replaced after only twelve years...
