Temporary 581 carrying out community work

Whilst the real 582 ( N306 FSG ) is in for service, South Queensferry were allocated a spare machine ( ex-Dunbar ). Unfortunately, M134 seems to be lacking good suspension!!!!.
Photographed at Gymtots in South Queensferry on Easter Sunday.

How much longer is this appliance and the other M plates likely to remain in service? Will some of the P and R reg Scanias become reserve appliances in the near future?

Some other L&B questions:

does anyone remember/have any photos of the following appliances from the 70s for this website:
pink(ish) Dodge wrl from Liberton
Bedford HP from Sighthill
Dodge HP from McDonald Road

whilst at newbridge OSC the other week, this and 3 other M reg machines were in process of decomming

Scott, the P and R reg appliances are starting to cascade into those positions already as with the latest batches coming into the fleet, the N reg appliances will also likely be on their way out as 3 new 09 plates have just arrived or are arriving.

jake, you'll find that the N reg appliances will be kept for reserve whilst the M reg machines are up for disposal. our current machine N306 FSG is earmarked for reserve status once we get our 'new' machine. also the P and R reg machines are already in place with retained stations whilst 02 and 03 are being refurbed for going out to retained.
