Today, Newcastle run a wholetime Scania P94 Rescue Ladder, a retained Scania P94 Water Tender, a wholetime Mercedes 416 CDi TRV (a Targeted Response Vehicle, which is a Light Fire Appliance that deals with minor fires), a New-Dimensions M.A.N. IRU and a Ford Transit Water Rescue Unit.
