What a smashing looking appliance

If this rig has Ground Ladders as well; it would be a Quint (ARP/CARP).

Just imagine trying to wheel this long truck through a typical British Town !

Neat to see such a very American-style appliance, serving the Royal Air Force.

This is actually the USAF Base. All Air Bases in the UK are prefixed RAF.
As far a I am aware no Royal Air Force Base has an Aerial Appliance, This would be supplied by the Local Fire Service if required.

The old USS Neversail...... Received my driver/ operator aerial license on this very vehicle about 10 years ago. great rig, but definitely not designed for British roads, even on the base there was many a tight squeeze.

I learned everything there was about this truck back in 1997-1998 from Mark Smith and Clive!!! Great fire fighters and awesome trainers!!! Backing into the hospital was a bitch... haha
