Here's another classic photo of fire appliances and firefighters. This photo of Canberra Fire Brigade fire engines and firemen was taken by Jack Mildenhall, who was the official government photographer for Canberra in the 1920s and 30s.
The engine on the left is a Hotchkiss and the one on the right is an Albion.

Thanks for this B & W photo, Sam; could be mistaken for a British setting, perhaps, except for the multiple cross-arms of the telegraph pole in back-ground...a sign of communications across a big empty land....
