I noticed the bell in front of the wheel well(not usual placement).And the custom piping on the deck gun.this is a first for me.Looks like early '50's by looking at the front bumper.as usual.excellent picture.

Cedartown is about 20 miles south of Rome - yes, Rome, Georgia, USA ! and probably serves as a 'burb to the big city of Atlanta, 50 miles to the east.

About 9, 000 souls - great credit to their FD for preserving their wonderful old Series 700 ALF pumper.

The steering wheel has moved to the LH side; but not the Pump Panel - so the Driver/Engineer is a busy little beaver, running around the truck.

Looks like the midship-mounted Booster Reel was removed, to fit the Deck Gun - for 2nd Alarm duty - Defensive Attack ("Surround and Drown") and Mutual Aid - as quite a bit of industrial structures, in area.

Picture # 5222 and # 8804 show sister Series 700 ALF's in sad states.

Great to see this classic, safely in preservation.
