Nice looking Tanker - in fact, such a great job of hiding the Tank; it doesn't look like your usual Tanker.

1800 US Gal Water Tank equals 6814 litres, 1499 Imp Gals.
250 US gpm Pump equals 946 litres per minute, 208 Imp gpm.

Looks like handy rig, for Grass-Fire Season, too.

Pat,
Thanks for the conversions. We have those conversion tables buried in a pump operations book somewhere. These trucks are often used on brush/grass fires. I'm not sure about this one, but some are equipped with pump and roll capabilities.

TheFireman;

Would you be able to identify the apparatus builder? They have put out a good-looking rig, that is most definitely not of the "Euro-Toaster" ilk.
It looks like the PortaTank (Mobile Dam) slides out the left rear...Hard Suction Hoses on the other side?

You have quite a few Devoted Readers, who are all Metric and nothing else in their countries. As we Canadians live in a mixture of Metric and non-Metric measurements; not to mention the Imperial/US Gallon !! ; I don't mind plugging a few conversions in, for fellow readers to appreciate the truck in the photo.

Besides, my career was at sea; where we had the Nautical Mile of 6, 076 feet (1, 851.96 metres) and there is a Ton that equals 100 cubic feet (2.83 cubic metres)...go figure. It is Conversion City.

Anyway - keep those pictures coming, and I love the Fill-In Commentaries on their Coverage Areas.
