East Sussex Fire brigade Pevensey Volvo
1997/98 (R742 FYJ)Volvo FL6.14 Water Tender Ladder.This photograph shows Pevensey Fire Stations appliance at Eastbourne 999 Show in the Summer of 2006 just about to do a display in the arena.This appliance was one of the many appliances lost during the tragic fireworks factory fire in December 2006.

that was my fault gordon i said to pete that it was written off but when i found out it wasn't from yourself it was to late to change .

Thanks Guys for putting the facts straight.I was asked to publish this picture and mensioned details that I was given at the time, I didn't know this before the picture went on the site, so could'nt change it.....Pete M.

Volvo
Just to correct your caption...Pevensey's appliance was not written off, but
moved to Brighton (Preston Circus) to replace their Rescue Pump that was lost.
By next April this pump is planned to move to Bexhill as a reserve.
