This truck actually lasted into the '80's as a reserve ladder truck. Here it is staged on an apartment fire. A tough old goat no doubt. Unknown year, I would guess late 40's.

Unfortunately old mid mount aerials like these are much less often preserved than pumpers, because even fire departments rarely have room to store vehicles as big as these.
