West Sussex Fire Brigade Dennis F8The Dennis F8 was a small limousine appliance, only 6ft 6ins wide, making it ideal for rural areas. It was a very successful machine, remaining in production from 1952 until 1960.This example served with the West Sussex Fire Brigade at Bognor Regis throughout its working life, being withdrawn from service in 1972.It was purchased by the present owner in 1982 in a very poor state, and after major restoration it became fully restored and today attends Shows, rallies and Fire Station Open Days throughout the County of West Sussex. The 1953 Dennis F8 had a Rolls Royce B60 6 cyl.petrol engine and is now thanks to the dedication of the owner,a lovely preserved appliance from the past.
