East Sussex Volvo Community Fire Safety Vehicle

Volvo Eastbourne Community Fire Safety Vehicle
In 1998, a purpose built vehicle was commissioned from specialist coachbuilders Baileys of Stoke-on-Trent. The exterior graphics have been designed to appeal to all members of the community, not just children.

The vehicle is built on a Volvo FL6 chassis and has a gross weight of eleven tonnes. It has a six litre, 180 BHP engine with automatic transmission. A silent running on board generator has been built into the vehicle
