A High Volume Pump (HVP) appliance consists of a Prime Mover (chassis, cab and hook-lift) and two de-mountable containers.
The first container holds the de-mountable HVP known as a Hydrosub and one kilometre of 150mm hose.
The second container holds a further two kilometres of 150mm hose. The Hydrosub is a hydraulically powered unit that can deliver a flow of up to 7, 000 litres of water per minute and can pump up to a head of 60 metres. The appliance is for flooding and firefighting incidents


after a phone call to hove fire station this morning i have found out the call signs for this appliance.
with every thing on the appliance its call sign papa 37
with every pod hoses its call sign hotel 37
and just the appliance with no pods its call sign mike 84

Thanks Harvey - I believe these are the exact same pods purchased for Malaysia Fire & rescue Service mounted on Scanias.

MOD1.TECH SEARCH
This module carries all the equipment required for the first response of an incident. Equipment to record details of the incident, to gain access to any voids and spaces and equipment to explore voids and spaces.

MOD 4. BOBCAT (MPV) & TENT
This module carries an MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) for transporting equipment & debris to and from the incident ground, an inflatable tent for sheltering equipment from the weather and more lighting
mod 5.TIMBER
This module carries 10 Tonnes of C16 grade timber for shoring, a way of supporting an unstable building with a timber framework.

This HVP was only at Hove for a brief time as a reserve for one of the allocated units. no idea where it ia now but has not been at Hove for over 3 years.
