After decades of purchasing a very wide range of different imported fire appliances, a domestic bodybuilding industry is emerging in Poland. Although a vast array of fire trucks with chassis and bodies from all over Europe are still in service there, it seems that Scania is increasingly popular, just as the brand is making inroads even in France and Germany, both of which have strong domestic truck manufacturers.
