The CCFL designation in France usually refers to a 4X4 off road pump tanker with a water tank of 1500 to 1800 liree capacity. The literal translation is "light firefighting tanker truck". This Land Rover is obviously much smaller, as its permissible GVW will likely limit its tank to around 500 liters or even less. Land Rovers have been very widely used by French fire services in rural areas for decades, in a wide variety of applications. But now they are gradually being being replaced by a wider variety of makes, as the current more private consumer focused L-R range does not offer the same versatility, rugged design and stunning off road capabilities as the older generations.
