Makes a lot of sense. I find it interesting that in many places - including the UK - 4X4 pumpers designed for structural firefighting are very rare, even though there are similar areas of the country which have hilly and often snow covered roads around smaller towns and villages. Even in the northern US structure pumpers - where road conditions can be terrible in winter - are very rarely mounted on 4X4 chassis, and the same seems to be true in most Scandinavian countries too.
