Twenty three years of service for this MAN. Not unusual for a CCF brush truck, as these were typically not much used during late autumn, winter and early spring. This seems to be changing though with the warming climate, as the “ fire season “ is getting longer and longer as the years go by. In some places, fire services have almost abandoned the concept as they have to be ready to deal with brush fires at any time of the year.
