2000 LPM does not sound like a heavy duty pumper, but in France it is the convention to quote pump output at 15AT rather than 10. This pushes the actual pump performance into the same range as a Rosenbauer N35 or NH35, which is quite beefy. These are deployed at major fires, and one reason for the 400 meter 110 mm LDH load is that these can set into high volume hydrants (even two if needed) and relay water over long distances if necessary to other pumpers at the fireground. Their tank, ladders and other gear on board also allow them to function as everyday first responders too.
