Ferrero is a famous and quite large international candy manufacturer. I guess the need for a rig of these proportions reflects the fact that sugar and fats both burn very well, and a lot of sugar and fat if they get on fire must burn really well! This aerial is yet another excellent example of how industrial fire brigades in many countries have fire trucks at hand which go beyond anything normally found in municipal fire stations. In Germany, many of these industrial brigades are officially on call and contractually obliged to respond along with the municipal fire service if requested. In one case I saw a very tall industrial aerial special called to a high rise building roof fire, which was well above reach for the city’s standard 32 metre ladders.

True, but I understand they are still real, while a lot of less pricy alternatives have disturbing amounts of rather nasty substitute ingredients. ( not that I want to be inflammatory! )
