This specification pumper has a nine person crew. Four of the seven rear seats have BA in the backrest for instant deployment as these crew can don their sets en route. There are also four more sets in the side lockers in a carousel which has been positioned for unloading in this photo. This was the standard design before sets began to be loaded inside the cab, and they now permit eight of the crew to be in BA pretty quickly if necessary.
