Nicely illustrates the Metz PP in its typical rear locker storage locker. Although this is a lightweight five ton van based unit, even full size LF8TS trucks did not have water tanks. The more recent PP carriers do have a small tank as standard, so the crew can get to work immediately on small fires. The pump is still easily removed, but is plumbed into the tank for instant water if needed. These small TSF-W are usually bought by small village volunteers because they are very handy, easy to drive and relatively cheap.
