This town of around 8500 souls has a volunteer fire company operating one rescue pumper, three pump water tenders, an aerial platform, a hose tender, two crew squads with trailers and a command van.

Rob you are referring to Staufen Germany, Baden Wurttemberg this van was from Staufen Switzerland, located in Canton Aargau besides Zurich

Similar information seems to be missing from the Swiss site, although this VW does turn up as a historic former unit. The German namesake town seems very well equipped!
