Five seat cab, nicely styled with split tilt design. Unlike many other large European cities which often staff pumpers with six, seven, eight or even sometimes nine firefighters, Brussels is happy to run with five. They do however add a second pumper, a TTL, a command van and an emergency ambulance to the first response assignment to any reported structure fire, with a resulting minimum combined force of sixteen people. This first response staffing level interestingly coincides with both German and US established minimums for a reported structure fire.
