Australian Army Fire Emergency Response

This is the Australian Army's Scania fire emergency response vehicle. You could say it's the exact livery and design of the ACT Fire Brigade urban pumper. The only difference is the side pockets and the emblem.

Visually, that is correct. However, the appliance carries 52mm and 90mm hose rather than the more common Australian mix of 38 and 65/70. It is designed to lay 90 mm hose on the run. The driver's side locker has a rack system that takes 5 foot-lockers so the specialist small gear miox can be quicked changed to suit the task. These were the first Aussie appliances to carry the spare BA cylinders in the wheel wells and [in recent era] to carry proper fire service ladders.
