This is a very widespread brush truck specification in France. The short four door cab seats four, with the two rear seats facing outwards, resulting in a very compact configuration. Some newer ones have protective high pressure nozzles built in to the crash cage, to insure the crew can still be well protected if the unit becomes stranded in burning vegetation. Over 4000 brush trucks and tankers are in service in France, ranging from small 1000 litre units up to 8X4 tankers with 13,000 liter capacity. The majority have a 3,000 or 4,000 litre tank.

These 4000 liter units are mostly on Renault, Mercedes Atego, Unimog or MAN chassis like this example.
