MAN-Rosenbauer HLF20 Rescue-pump

(2013) Code 2/46/1 FS 02 - Frankfurt FD
19 units ordered in 2013. This generation will be soon replaced by more compact, lighter, easier engines.
In these 12 years, some notes were observed:
Too large & bulky, to many unnecessary tools, too much computerization

Glad to see the users are getting involved. There is always tension between the actual people who use the truck and the chiefs who listen to the salespeople and want the newest and trendiest equipment and features. Sometimes, as in the case of CAFS, this resistance to new ideas does need to be overturned. But a lot of new electronic features are not easy to understand - and can often take decision making away from riding officers and pump operators.

Frankfurt has always been a leader in Fire & Rescue, and the Command is close and listens to the "users".
Another point: they are against electric appliances
